Port A

The following weekend we got to to celebrate our anniversary again on our annual Couples' Retreat with Tom and Angie Heinemann!  Always a fun time with amazing friends.  This time was extra special because the newest Heinmann, Cole Henry, joined us, in Angie's belly :)

Let me start by documenting the first crack I have ever had in a windshield......in the new jeep :(

Will be getting that replaced soon! (ps it of course grew in the Texas heat!)

after arriving at the much anticipated fish room, we hung out and caught up and then finally got our butts back up to head to the beach!

That night we went to Whataburger, just like last time, except this time the Whataburger line was out the door!  Apparently it was the most hopin' place on a Friday night in Port A!

On Saturday, we slept in of course, then headed to the beach after a yummy breakfast of pop tarts :) (did I mention we ONLY eat junk food on this trip, wait, I take that back, there were some carrots and grapes there as well)  We hung out until we were hungry again, made hot dogs for lunch, just like last time (we are such creatures of habit.....I mean TRADITION), then Matt took a little nap.

On our second trip down to the beach, Matt sported some awesome sun glasses Ang had given me as part of our hostess gifts at her baby shower!

Sunday morning we slept in again, these trips are all about rest and relaxation and catching up with some great friends.  We packed up pretty quick and took some pics in front of the fish wall to remember the trip by.  Ang wanted to be as tall as the rest of our basketball team here:

Another successful Couples' Retreat!  Looking forward to many MANY more!
