After going to Crossbridge Community with the SA gang, we headed to Tom's favorite, Panda Express for a little "lunchie".
After lunch we then went with TAngie to the Gilbert's in Pflugerville for our Labor Day Vacation!
We spent the next two days involved in a tournament of various events. Beginning with washers, 301 darts and pool volleyball. After this first round of games the score was aas follows:
(Gilberts, Almost, being Angie's brother Travis and his fiance Jean who are getting married in two weeks!)
Before dinner we then had a "quick" SA boys vs Gilberts boys and SA girls vs Gilbert girls game. The Gilberts won the boys' game, and after a LOOOONNNGGGG drawn out fight, the SA girls won the girls' game!
For dinner we had fajitas (my favorite!) , and afterward we played a card game called "Up and Down the River." Even though Matt and I had never played before, we won! Score update:
We finised the tournament up with Trivial Pursuit, which left the score tied for the win:
If that's hard to read: Heiny's and Gilbert Almost tied at 10.5, we were right behind them with 10 and Gilbert Senior had 9 points.
Monday:
For breakfast Monday morning, we had the world famous, as seen an TV, Round Rock Donuts:
On the way home we saw this, almost perfect rainbow out the car window:
Tuesday:
Tuesday we were supposed to head to Dripping Springs to visit the Walsh girls (Michelle, Cadence and baby Kennedy!) but there was a rain storm and we had to reschedule.
For dinner, we had wonderful breakfast tacos at Em's place:
Wednesday:
Wednesday Matt and I had dinner with TAngie and Dylan and Abby Nealous! Angie made amazing honey crusted chicken tenders and corn on the cob!
Thursday:
For lunch I met mom and Emily at Panera. Great food as always. And for dinner I went with mom to The Cheesecake Factory with Heather and Kim. Matt spent the day working hard as a sales man. There were some items around Martha's house that she told Matt that if he wanted to sell them, we could keep the money. He is a great salesman, and so far has made us some pretty good money selling the following items:
Go Kart Frame and motors: $144
A bunch of rocks: $40
aluminum boat: $500
